If you are taking the lead, look behind you; if no one is following, you aren’t a leader. If you are to be an 11% leader, you have to be representing a collective “will” or an “idea” that has come of age.
Look behind yourself again. If people are following, you are a leader… or running from the law perhaps. It’s that simple!
This same principle applies in business and overall success in life: We have to be offering something a person wants and needs–not something we think someone “should have.”
To have something to offer others on consistent basis, we all must be involved in consistent practices that result in our own needs being met.
Being successful in business and private life is mostly about service to others, with this process being how we get our own needs met.
Perhaps the most powerful need we have is to truly know ourselves–to know with honesty the gold of who we are. With consistent work, this important value of who we are is revealed-with our gold attracting the gold of the entire world.
But we have to get out into the world and do the work required for change and construct a system that allows others an easy exchange of their goodness for ours.
