Judgment that condemns and criticises the quality of another person leads to misunderstandings and inaccurate conclusions. Judging the progress or value of another human being leads to false conclusions about reality itself, the person we are judging and ourselves.
The only judgment or opinion we need to have is that it’s a good idea to practice love… after that, making the decision to love and then practicing love will usually satisfy the underlying lack that causes us to criticise.
You can’t judge yourself or others by state of health, happiness or freedom. You can’t judge an individual by where they seem to be as a success or failure, and this applies first to ourselves. In judging the quality or worth of another we only further our own blindness. We only add to the confusion about how we can best get our need for love met.
Judging the value or worth of another person lead to false conclusions, always; because the real quality of any and every person is the pure and perfect quality of their soul.
The expression of a person’s life, however, may be quite different. But the perfect soul of everyone can be seen clearly, if we get past the judgments and beliefs we have of our own lack of quality. We judge others as we experience ourselves and life. When we experience the gold of our soul, clearly, it is easy to see the perfection of another person. When we love ourselves as a constant state of being; it is easy to love another regardless of what they are doing or what they have done.
Judgment is the sound of death.
While a pure and honest perception of life brings only joy and understanding, we cut our spirit short when harshly judging others or ourselves.
The only honest thing there ever is to do is to practice love and exhibit respect.
