We must know who we are. There is no substitute or way around the requirement to know ourselves.
It is tempting to have someone else tell us who we are and what to do. It is tempting to rely on someone else to tell us what is the truth.
But the work of knowing the truth of ourselves is our own work; no one else can do this but ourselves.
We gain our power and ability by knowing who we are. We gain the world and our life by this self knowledge.
We can’t do someone else’s work; they can’t do ours. We must be ourselves.
Our work is to be who we are, and not someone else.
